I'm from Missouri

This site is named for the famous statement of US Congressman Willard Duncan Vandiver from Missouri : "I`m from Missouri -- you'll have to show me." This site is dedicated to skepticism of official dogma in all subjects. Just-so stories are not accepted here. This is a site where controversial subjects such as evolution theory and the Holocaust may be freely debated.

Censorship will be avoided in my blogs -- there will be no deletion of comments, no closing of comment threads, no holding up of comments for moderation, and no commenter registration hassles. Comments containing nothing but insults and/or ad hominem attacks are discouraged. My non-response to a particular comment should not be interpreted as agreement, approval, or inability to answer.

Holocaust denial/revisionism helps Darwinism

The evidence of a connection between Darwinism and Nazi eugenics is overwhelming. The easiest way to minimize the connection between Darwinism and the holocaust is to minimize the holocaust itself! So, Darwinists, you should be grateful for the help you are getting from holocaust deniers and revisionists, and it would be in your best interests to become holocaust deniers and revisionists yourselves.

A question: do you think we should condemn The Bible because some people think that it says they can kill abortion doctors?

Where does the bible say that?

Anyway, people's belief that the bible says that it is OK to kill abortion doctors has nothing to do with (1) whether the Nazis were influenced by Darwinism and (2) whether the holocaust has been exaggerated.

I don't think the Bible does say it's okay to kill abortion doctors but some people claim it inspires them to do so. My point being that we don't condemn the Bible or Christianity because some lunatics want to use it for their own twisted ends. Why condemn Darwin for Hitler?

Ellazimm, if someone believes that abortion is murder, then endorsing capital punishment for it would follow. While I support capital punishment for murder, I do not agree that abortion is murder. (Of course, individuals don't get to apply capital punishment on their own anyway.)

Assuming even for a moment that what you say is true i.e. that there is evidence for some connection between Darwinism and Holocaust, another way to minimize the connection would be to deny Darwinism! which the Intelligent Design does. So in this sense is the Intelligence Design on the same boat with Darwinians and those that deny the Holocaust?
