I'm from Missouri

This site is named for the famous statement of US Congressman Willard Duncan Vandiver from Missouri : "I`m from Missouri -- you'll have to show me." This site is dedicated to skepticism of official dogma in all subjects. Just-so stories are not accepted here. This is a site where controversial subjects such as evolution theory and the Holocaust may be freely debated.

My biggest motivation for creating my own blogs was to avoid the arbitrary censorship practiced by other blogs and various other Internet forums. Censorship will be avoided in my blogs -- there will be no deletion of comments, no closing of comment threads, no holding up of comments for moderation, and no commenter registration hassles. Comments containing nothing but insults and/or ad hominem attacks are discouraged. My non-response to a particular comment should not be interpreted as agreement, approval, or inability to answer.

ADL regional director says, "freedom of speech does not extend to racist groups"

The Volokh Conspiracy blog has the story here.

Particularly troubling is the fact that the ADL considers all holocaust denial and revisionism to be hate speech. For example, my own position is that a "systematic" Jewish holocaust was impossible because the Nazis had no reliable and objective ways of identifying Jews and non-Jews. To the ADL, that's hate speech.

What happens is that once extremists get control of an organization like the ADL, they tend to keep and increase control because moderates who don't want to support an extremist organization leave. I have also seen this happen to the Wikipedia organization.

It is completely obvious the holocaust is an exaggeration of numbers.

I imagine this scenario:

Jacob: "60,000 is all that were killed in the camps and most of these were by accident or disease."

Chaim: "Add two zeroes to the total and make it 6 million. Make that the official number. Hammer it home in all the media, shout down anyone who disagrees. The chaos of the war's aftermath is on our side, heh heh. 6 million is the magic number!"

The "death camps" make no sense and cannot be true, else, why was there a Warsaw gheto, hmmm? Why weren't they all carted off if there was an extermination order?

No, the holocaust is an overblown exaggeration to bilk sympathy and bucks from people, nothing more.

Except for the great discrepancies in the official death counts for Auschwitz, which varied from about 1.1 million to 4 million, I have no basis for questioning the numbers. My main argument is that a "systematic" Jewish holocaust was impossible because the Nazis had no objective and reliable ways of identifying Jews and non-Jews.

Who cares if the Nazis had a reliable means of identification.

They still killed millions of Jews and people they thought were Jews.

Whether they were "reliable" or not does not matter to the victims.

And I notice no one seems to be citing any sources around here.

Goldstein's Clone.

(P.S., since you are moderating and censoring, shouldn't you modify the "anti censorhisp" paragraph at the top of your blog?

The Jewish holocaust is often called "systematic." To have a "systematic" Jewish holocaust, objective and reliable ways of identifying Jews and non-Jews are necessary.

>>>>>>> And I notice no one seems to be citing any sources around here. <<<<<<

There are very few sources to cite because the issue of identification of Jews and non-Jews has been largely ignored in holocaust studies. I have cited Edwin Black's book "IBM and the Holocaust" and a Jewish magazine that quotes a former chief historian of the Washington DC holocaust museum as saying that the IBM Hollerith machines were never used to identify individuals for deportation.

No -- the paragraph is a reminder that some lousy trolls forced me to impose moderation and censorship.
