Hypocritical Ed Brayton tells anti-gay jokes

BVD-clad blogger Ed Brayton, who claims to be a champion of gay rights, especially the "right" to marry, told some anti-gay jokes about a gay marriage of inmates in a Canadian prison (gay marriage is legally recognized in Canada). Ed wrote,

Love....exciting and new....come aboard.....we're expecting you.

So many jokes, so little time. The groom wore an orange jumpsuit. So did the other groom. They'll be honeymooning in lovely Cell Block D. Willie "Killer" Walters was the maid of honor.

"Do you, David, take Sony to be your prison bitch, to have and to hold, from this day forward, f oresaking all others till parole do you part?"

Do they get to share a cell now? If so, do they put out a welcome mat that says "Bless This Home"? Are the other inmates complaining that this will ruin the sanctity of their conjugal visits? Was there a cake and did it have a hacksaw in it? I have no doubt this one will last longer than Pamela Anderson's latest.

"Prison bitch"? Wow, that's real tolerant of you, Ed.

Just wondering what you would have said about someone else who made those jokes.

Supporting gay marriages does not make him a champion of gay rights.

As usual, you try to set up straw men.

ViU is right. Nothing Ed Brayton has said could be reasonably construed to mean that he is a champion of gay rights. It is not necessary in the real world for someone to be totally for or totally against the position of another person or group.

I don't think you are trying to set up a straw man. I think you truly don't understand the situation. You seem to misinterpret many things. As I said before, you need help.

While reading ViU's comment, I mistakenly keyed in his name. The above (second) comment was by me. The first one (I assume) was by ViU.

Thanks for straightening that out! LOL!

Larry, you still have not explained how you determined that Ed (inter alios) wears BVD brand underwear. Nor, for that matter, whether you are receiving royalties from Fruit of the Loom, Inc. for these abundant plugs.

You stupid fathead, gay marriage is the holy grail of gay rights extremists.

Fruit of the Loom ought to sue me for suggesting that Fatheaded Ed wears one of their brands.

The government has long recognized business partnerships.

More recently, some governments have begun to recognize domestic partnerships, too.

Governments have a hard time defining social relationships, such as marriage, family, clan, tribe, extended family, dysfunctional family, broken homes, mishpuchah, harems, and domestic partnerships.

It must be tough to be a bureaucrat in this day and age.

That is too logical for Larry to digest. He will go on believing that there is a connection. At least it provides some of the readers an insight into Larry's mental disturbance.

It's a challenge to gain any reliable insight into the mental state of the characters who inhabit these shreklisch dramas.

Larry is probably the creation of some pro-evolutionis to discredit the creationists. Nobody is really as daffy as this "Larry" pretends to be. ViW, who has disappeared, is probably a creation of the same person just to have opposition. The creator of these characters probably dropped ViW as no one was necessary to point out "Larry's" obvious foibles.

O.K. Come clean. How many of these characters are real.

Road Runner and Wiley Coyote are real.

Everyone else here is a figment of the imagination of the reader.

Um, the comments about whether Brayton supports gay rights miss the point and are off base -- he surely does. No, the point is that Fafarman is so fucking stupid and intellectually dishonest that he actually thinks that Brayton's use of "prison bitch" is in any way intolerant of gays or anti- gay rights. He could just as well have said "sissy fuck slave" and it still wouldn't indicated any intolerance -- in fact, it would have shown some understanding of gay culture.
